A valuable piece of advice I came across while scrolling through the status stories on WhatsApp.
Growth and comfort do not coexist.
I seem to be at a crossroads in life at present, where possibilities are endless, no matter what direction I take, or path I choose. As is said, that great change, phenomenal difference only comes about when there is a great amount of discomfort, restlessness, dissatisfaction in any given situation or circumstance. If I am completely okay with how things are, completely fine with the state of affairs, will I seek change? It’s probably a question we can all ask ourselves; when do we seek change? When do we adapt? When do we embrace change?
It’s an interesting conundrum of life. We constantly strive to achieve a routine, a balance, a tune to our daily life that allows us to be free and live in a relaxed manner. While at the same time we are constantly looking for how things can be exciting, different, challenging at best.
So, if I am seeking growth, there will be changes, can I also find comfort along the way? Is there a way to achieve both?
